Key Responsibilities

As part of the team, you’ll manage essential tasks to ensure smooth operations, including:

• Health & Safety: Follow site health, safety, environmental, and quality standards to ensure compliance with operating procedures.
• Forklift Operations: Safely operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehousing equipment. Candidates with experience in Forklift Driver Jobs will find this role an excellent fit.
• Inventory Management:
  • Scan and unwrap pallets, supply film to presses, and manage returns-to-stock (RTS) reels efficiently.
  • Maintain weight records for RTS materials and organize them in designated areas.
• Waste Management:
  • Clear skips and balers on the shop floor, ensuring proper disposal of film, cardboard, and other waste.
  • Keep Hall 3 and the yard clean and free from debris.
• Logistics Coordination:
  • Wrap, strap, and book finished goods.
  • Restock pallets for finished goods and manage interleaves effectively.
  • Load and unload deliveries using forklifts or other equipment, keeping accurate documentation.
• General Support: Assist colleagues and take on additional duties as required to support the logistics team.

Shift Pattern

This position follows a 24/7 shift system, with a 4-week rotating pattern:

• Week 1: 4 nights, 3 off
• Week 2: 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights
• Week 3: 3 off, 4 days
• Week 4: 7 off

Shifts are 12 hours, covering days, nights, and weekends.
